Just as you have an original or an answer key that you are using to compare another document against, Poof! Genie does the same thing. You specify the original and the file to be compared, and Poof! Genie will do the rest.
Because no two people have the same needs, Poof! Genie has numerous preferences for you to select. Do you need to check the values of the cells, the formulas contained within, or both? Do you need to check font formats? If you are a teacher, for some activities, checking font formats is exactly what is needed. If you don’t care what font was used, leaving that option unchecked speeds up the process. You choose what you need because that is what makes a tool truly useful.
