To all those who know me, you may realize that the picture is from 1999.  You can quit laughing now.  My students pointed out that my hair was different back then, so I've cut it to match.  :-)

I'm Robin Frontiero.  I threw this in here because some of you might be curious to know about the developer behind the application.  If you know me better, then you might be more likely to contact me about other applications you would like to see developed.  I'm a developer, but I'm also a teacher, so I realize that teachers need all the help they can get!  This application was first developed for teachers, but others have found it useful too.

O.k., so I told you I'm a teacher.  You can find out the most up-to-date information about my credentials and experience on my web site at www.frontiero.com.  Obviously, I'm also a developer for Microsoft Office products.  I have a few credentials there also.  O.k., I won't make you go out to the web to find out who I am...

Background

I have over a decade of professional experience as a Programmer / Systems Analyst and Network Administrator. I completed a Masters Degree in Career and Technical Education through Ferris State University along with an Advanced Studies Certificate in Quality Management Tools and Techniques from Ferris' College of Business.  I attended triOS College of Information Technology in 1999, where I studied to obtain the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification. I have a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Computer-Based Information Systems, Management, and Business Administration from Park College in Kansas City, Missouri, 1991. I earned my Associates Degree in Business from St. Clair County Community College in 1987. I graduated from Port Huron High School in 1984. (Go Big Reds!)

Certifications

I am certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor for Office XP.  I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows NT 4.0, and also hold the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I) designations.  I am also IC3 certified.

Teaching Experience

I currently teach Business, Management and Administration for the Information Technology Academy at St. Clair Technical Education Center (TEC).  Many people know me through my associations with St. Clair County Community College and Baker College of Port Huron. I've taught computer-related courses and seminars at both colleges over the past 12 years.

Hobbies and Interests

In my spare time (both minutes), I enjoy watching my kids in their activities:  dance, swim, soccer, Tae Kwan Do, and band.  I enjoy dancing too, particularly the many variations of the Hustle.  I am an avid reader, and prefer technical manuals on programming topics.
