| Poof! Genie WXP automatically compares Microsoft® Word XP and Word 2003 documents. Imagine comparing two documents in just seconds!
Compare an answer key against an entire directory in minutes or less.
With a free 30-day trial, you have nothing to lose but the pile of papers on
your desk.
People everywhere face the same dilemma. We use computers to create documents, but when it comes to checking one document against another, we end up processing this task manually. Somehow it just doesn’t seem to make sense to take a computerized document and check it manually… That’s where Poof! Genie WXP comes in. As an application developer and an instructor, I decided to make Word check its own documents. Just as you have an original or an answer key that you are using to compare another document against, Poof! Genie WXP does the same thing. You specify the original and the file to be compared, and Poof! Genie WXP will do the rest. You get to choose how you see the results, as balloons or inline with the text.

Because no two people have the same needs, Poof! Genie WXP has numerous preferences for you to select. You can choose to check just one file at a time, or you can check an entire directory. You can view the results on the screen, print them out, or both. You can show the differences between the documents as balloons in the right margin or inline. You choose what you need because that is what makes a tool truly useful. So now you have a couple of thoughts running through your mind. How do I get started? What versions of Word does it work with? Can I get a Poof! Genie for Microsoft® Excel® documents? The answers are download and install the application, and then see the "How to Poof!" tutorial in the Help file, Word XP and 2003. The Poof! Genie for Microsoft Excel XP is available as is Poof! Genie for Microsoft Excel, which works with Excel versions 2007, 2003, and XP. For Word 2007, the same functionality is available in the Compare feature under the Review tab within Microsoft Office Word 2007.
